CQ V7.1.2 + RTC 연계 사용

This technote describes how to use Rational ClearQuest Web with the Collaborative Lifecycle Management integrations.

Note: Before using the integrations, you must follow the configuration instructions in Configuring ClearQuest Web for Collaborative Lifecycle Management integrations.


Associating records and Rational Team Concert work items from the ClearQuest Web client
Associate a ClearQuest record and Rational Team Concert work items while modifying an existing record or submitting a new one.

Procedure
1. Using the ClearQuest Web client, modify an existing record or submit a new one.
2. Click the Links tab.
3. To associate the record with an existing work item, click the arrow in the Add drop-down list, click Related Change Request, and then select the Rational Team Concert project area where the existing work item is located.

    a. To find a work item using a keyword or the work item number, follow these steps:
      i. In the Work Item window, select Search by Keyword or Work Item Number.
      ii. From the Type menu, select the work item type to narrow your search, or accept the default to show all work items that meet the search criteria that you specify in the next step.
      iii. In the Work Item Number or Words Contained in the Text field, enter either a work item ID or text. The search begins as you start typing characters in this field.
    b. To find a work item by running an RTC query, follow these steps:
      i. In the Work Item window, select Search by Query.
      ii. In the Select a query from the tree below field, select a query to run.
    c. In the Matching Work items field, select the work item to associate with the record.
    d. Click OK. The Work Item window closes and the work item link appears in the Links control under the Related Change Requestsheading.
4. To create and associate a new work item, click the arrow in the Add drop-down list, click New Related Change Request and select the Rational Team Concert project area where you want to create the new work item.
    a. In the New Related Change Request window, select the type of work item to create and click OK.
    b. Enter the required information in the work item template.
    c. Click OK. The work item is created and associated with the ClearQuest record. The work item link appears in the LinksRelated Change Requests heading.

5. To see a summary of the work item, move your mouse pointer over a work item link.
6. Click the work item link to open the associated work item in the Rational Team Concert Web client.

Associating records and Collaborative Lifecycle Management integration artifacts from the ClearQuest Web client
Associate a ClearQuest record and Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) integration artifacts while modifying an existing record or submitting a new one.

If cross-server communication is set up between your ClearQuest server and other Jazz-based product servers, you can associate ClearQuest records with artifacts from the other products. For example, you can link ClearQuest records to test cases and requirements.

Procedure
1. Using the ClearQuest Web client, modify an existing record or submit a new one. 
2. Click the Links tab.
3. To associate the record with an existing artifact, or to create a new artifact to associate, click the arrow in the Add drop-down list and select the type of artifact from the menu. 

For example:

    . To link to an existing test case in Rational Quality Manager, click the arrow in the Add drop-down list, click Tested By Test Case, and select the RQM project where the artifact is located.

    . To create a new ClearQuest record to associate, click the arrow in the Add drop-down list, click New Related Change Request, and select the database where you want to create the new record.
4. Follow the prompts to locate the existing artifact or to create the new artifact. When you are finished, the associated artifact appears in theLinks control under the appropriate heading.
5. To see a summary of the artifact, move your mouse pointer over the link.
6. Click the link to open the artifact in the related product.


Removing associations between artifacts from the ClearQuest Web client
You can remove the association between ClearQuest records and artifacts from the ClearQuest Web client. 

Procedure
1. Using the ClearQuest Web client, modify a record. 
2. Click the Links tab.
3. In the Links control, click the delete icon next to the artifacts that you want to remove.
4. Click Save. The association is removed from both the ClearQuest record and the artifact.
